“Home Free” – 1993, ABC

Matt Bailey (played by Matthew Perry) is a carefree, if somewhat lazy, 22-year-old journalist who enjoys a comfortable life in the home of his mother Grace (Marian Mercer). He doesn’t think about entering adulthood and leaving the family home until his older sister Vanessa (Diana Canova) moves in with her two children.

Go On” – 2012-2013, NBC

The comedy tells the story of Ryan King (Matthew Perry), a sports commentator whose boss encourages him to join a support group because he cannot cope after the death of his wife. King attends a meeting of a therapeutic group and its activities form the basis of the series’ action.

“The Odd Couple” – 2015-2017, CBS

In the series, Matthew Perry (who was also the creator and executive producer of “The Odd Couple”) starred as the scruffy Oscar Madison, while Thomas Lennon played the obsessively neat Felix Unger. The series (referring to the 1968 film of the same title with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, which was based on a stage play by Neil Simon) tells the story of two roommates who seem to be completely incompatible with each other. Oscar is a messy type, while Feliks is a well-mannered weirdo. The characters met at college in the late 1980s and became roommates for the first time. Even though Felix is extremely neurotic and picky, unlike the laid-back Oscar, the men quickly became friends. Years later, Felix is kicked out of his home by his wife Ashley and moves in with Oscar. Despite their differences, the characters are still friends and try to find a path to happiness together. The role of Oscar Madison is Perry’s last major series project.
