This despite the fact that “Borderlands” is a film adaptation of a popular video game and has a number of well-known actors in the cast – such as Cate Blanchett, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Black and Kevin Hart, and horror specialist Eli Roth (“Cabin Fever”) as director .

But fans did not like the adaptation and “Borderlands” has a score of only 10 percent positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. It has grossed $20.7 million in theaters around the world, from a $120 million budget.

Only 8,750 Norwegian cinemagoers have seen “Borderlands” since its premiere on 9 August, according to Kinotoppen. According to NME, “Borderlands” will now be released on digital platforms on 30 August.
