Bruce Willis’ wife talks about his illness and current condition

Bruce Willis’ wife appeared on NBC’s “Today” show in honor of World Frontotemporal Dementia Awareness Week. Emma Heming Willis talked about the current condition of her husband, who is struggling with dementia.

Emma Heming Willis was a guest on an episode of the “Today” show devoted to frontotemporal dementia. Bruce Willis was diagnosed with this disease in mid-February. Since then, the actor’s 45-year-old wife has been sharing information about his health and making efforts to promote awareness of this form of dementia.

When asked by a journalist whether the actor was aware of his health condition, Heming Willis admitted that it’s hard to say. Susan Dickinson, CEO of the Frontotemporal Dementia Association, also present in the studio, explained that for some patients, self-awareness and the ability to observe changes taking place in themselves is one of the first things they lose.
