During an appearance on the Smartless podcast, the actor shared that he plans to play the God of Thunder “a couple more times,” offering a reassuring hint about Thor’s fate in the upcoming MCU showdown .
With Avengers: Doomsday set to hit theaters at the end of 2026, many fans have been bracing for major character casualties — especially with Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom emerging as the Multiverse Saga’s central threat. But Hemsworth’s comments strongly suggest that Thor will survive the chaos and continue his journey into Avengers: Secret Wars and beyond.
