Rumors about Halle Berry returning as Storm in Avengers: Doomsday just won’t die down — and Chris Hemsworth isn’t helping calm the speculation. During a joint interview promoting their new film Crime 101, Hemsworth told CinemaBlend that Thor would actually love to team up with Storm, calling their shared weather‑based powers a natural match.
Fans have been buzzing ever since Marvel announced the first wave of the Doomsday cast, which includes several returning X‑Men actors. Berry has repeatedly denied being part of the project, but her chemistry with Hemsworth during interviews has only intensified online theories.
Asked whether Thor would see Storm as “stealing his thunder,” Hemsworth laughed and said he’d be thrilled: “We have something in common — the incredible wielding of the weather patterns talent.”

Berry, meanwhile, joked that maybe Storm wasn’t invited to Doomsday because the team already has enough weather power: “Maybe that’s why she’s not there. They don’t need her.”
Despite her insistence that she’s not returning, even Andy Cohen tried to get her to slip up. And Hemsworth went a step further, openly inviting her to join Secret Wars: “Everyone wants you in it… I’m inviting you.”
