Liam Neeson is back in action — and once again, he’s running out of time. The 74‑year‑old star of Taken returns to the big screen in The Mongoose, a pulse‑pounding thriller that puts him at the center of a nationwide manhunt and a story fueled by loyalty, trauma, and sheer determination.

A Veteran on the Run
In The Mongoose, Neeson plays Ryan “Fang” Flanagan, a war hero wrongfully accused of a crime he didn’t commit. With his life upended and “nothing to lose,” Fang launches into a desperate cross‑country escape. As law enforcement closes in, he finds unexpected allies among his fellow veterans — and even a sympathetic public watching the chase unfold on live television.
The newly released trailer reveals the emotional stakes behind Fang’s flight. His ex‑wife Tara (Marisa Tomei) pleads with him to surrender. “You’ve got to give yourself up,” she urges. “I can’t do that. I will never be captured again,” Fang replies, as flashes of his dark past hint at the trauma driving his refusal.
Later, Tara’s tone shifts. Over the phone, she tells him: “Drive. As fast as you can,” pushing him toward the mysterious titular destination while millions follow the chase on their screens.
