Culkin previously shared the concept during his A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin tour in November 2025. His idea flips the original premise:

- He’s overwhelmed with work and unintentionally neglects his son.
- The frustrated child locks Kevin out of the house.
- The kid sets up traps — echoing Kevin’s own childhood antics — preventing him from getting back inside.
