The duo of Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, known from the movie “Barbie”, will appear on screen together again. According to Variety, it will be a prequel to the 2001 action comedy.
The film Barbie directed by Greta Gerwig had a great cinema premiere. Variety reports that the production earned $1.4 billion in ticket sales, which is the highest result in Warner Bros. history. It’s no wonder that the studio decided to try to repeat the success, and the famous duo will appear in the next film.
In what production will we be able to see them as a duet again? It is supposed to be a prequel to the movie “Ocean’s Eleven”. The 2001 film tells the story of Danny Ocean, a gentleman burglar played by George Clooney. Danny is released from prison in New Jersey and plans to rob a casino chain in Las Vegas, but to do it he needs helpers – a dealer, a pickpocket and a pyrotechnician. The profit from the robbery is expected to be USD 160 million. The biggest movie stars played the roles of collaborators, including Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. Details of the creation of the prequel to the film with Gosling and Robbie are not known yet. All we know is that the prequel to the well-known film is to be set in Europe in the 1960s.
