op superstar Pink began the new year in an unexpected place — a hospital room. The 46‑year‑old singer spent New Year’s Eve preparing for surgery, sharing a candid update with fans on Instagram along with a selfie showing a large white bandage on her neck.
In her emotional caption, Pink (real name Alecia Moore) revealed that she is undergoing a planned medical procedure to receive two artificial discs in her neck. She emphasized that the surgery was intentional and part of her commitment to taking care of her body after years of high‑energy performances.
“I end the year giving reverence to, paying attention to, and fixing my body,” she wrote. “It may not be a fancy facelift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck.”

The singer added that she was spending New Year’s Eve alone in the hospital while her husband Carey Hart and their children, Willow and Jameson, were snowboarding. Despite the circumstances, she expressed optimism about the year ahead.
