It will be 26 years this year since the premiere of James Cameron’s Titanic, but the film is still remembered and watched by new viewers. Today we are returning to this production, because previously unpublished behind-the-scenes photos from the set have appeared online.
Do you remember “Titanic”? The production, awarded with 11 Oscars, is one of three films by director James Cameron among the five highest-grossing productions of all time. The other two are the two parts of Avatar.
A treat for “Titanic” fans has appeared on the Internet – previously unpublished photos from the set, taken in 1996 by an anonymous member of the crew with his own camera. The photos were taken in Mexico and show the film’s stars, extras, crew members and the titular ship itself, partially recreated on the set. The photos come from a larger album that will soon be put up for sale at the Henry Aldridge & Son auction house.
