On the list of the highest-grossing films in history, we find no less than three of them: “Endgame” takes second place – only beaten by “Avatar”, while “Infinity War” (2018) is in sixth place and the film simply called “The Avengers » (2012), is in tenth place.

In a clip shown from the stage at the fair, Ford’s character could be seen turning into the red Hulk.

  • I am happy and proud to become a member of the Marvel universe, said the legendary actor, last seen in “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny”.

It happens in the film “Avengers: Doomsday”, which is scheduled to premiere in May 2026.

Director brothers Anthony and Joe Russo are also back, and in addition to the Avengers films “Doomsday” and “Secret Wars”, they are responsible for “Fantastic Four: First Steps”. There, it is Harrison Ford who will play the role of the antagonist Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, after the previous holder of the role, William Hurt, died in 2022.
