Will Christopher Nolan write and direct new Bond films?

There are rumors that Christopher Nolan will direct three Bond films. According to rumors, Nolan will also have the final say in selecting the next actor to play 007.

Christopher Nolan is a fan of James Bond films and in one of his interviews he stated that he would be happy to direct new Bond films, but on one condition. Nolan wants to be able to decide which actor will take over the legendary agent’s duties from Daniel Craig. Let us remind you that Craig last played Bond in the film “No Time To Die”.

Now it turns out that Amazon’s production company, Eon Pictures, offered Nolan everything he wanted and even exceeded his expectations, offering him to write the script for new parts and direct three new 007 films based on the first Bond books.

EON and Amazon encourage Nolan with all their might to accept their proposal. However, there are controversial issues that need to be resolved. EON wants a full reboot of the film series, but Nolan intends to adapt Ian Fleming’s novel in a period setting that will stay close to the original source material.

Will be following this topic and checking if the rumors turn out to be true.
